  • Who can order products directly from NeuroScience?
    NeuroScience only offers its products and services through healthcare practitioners. Have your healthcare practitioner contact us. Please note: NeuroScience offers world-wide service; ask us about these options.

  • Does AdreCor contain adrenal extract?
    No, AdreCor is a vegetarian product that derives its highly standardized amino acids, minerals, and vitamins from plant-based and mineral sources. 
  • I am feeling anxious or overstimulated when I take Calm-PRT. Why is that?
    Due to the concentration of Rhodiola rosea per capsule, Calm-PRT may be stimulating if used at lower-than-recommended doses.
  • Why can't I just take a GABA supplement?
    The blood-brain barrier prevents external GABA from entering the brain where it is the primary inhibitory neurotransmitter.
  • Where is NeuroScience located?
    NeuroScience is located in western Wisconsin overlooking the scenic St. Croix River Valley.
  • How do I open an account with NeuroScience?
    You must be a licensed health care practitioner in the state where you practice. You will need to provide your professional information in order to open an account. NeuroScience, offers world-wide service, ask us about the options. Call Customer Service at 888-342-7272. One of our professionals is ready to assist you. 
  • Are NeuroScience products vegetarian compatible?
    Yes. NeuroScience uses high quality vegetable capsules for our products. As always, the ingredients within each capsule are void of any animal derivatives and are completely vegetarian compatible. 
  • Do NeuroScience products contain any allergens?
    There are no known allergens in NeuroScience products. However, some products contain plant-derived ingredients. While these ingredients are free from impurities, some individuals may be sensitive to the plants themselves. Some NeuroScience products contain lecithin derived from soy. Check product labels for further details.
  • How can NeuroScience products be given to children or people who cannot swallow pills?
    Many amino acids and herbs are bitter tasting and do not dissolve easily. The capsules can be opened and mixed with non-protein containing foods.

    Some popular mixing foods include:
    • Grape or strawberry fruit spread
    • Honey
    • Coconut milk
    • Yogurt
    • Fruit-flavored applesauce
    • Oatmeal
    • Chocolate or rice pudding

    Other recommendations include mixing the product with:
    • Butter or mayonnaise
    • Cooled, liquid gelatin
    • Grape juice and then freezing
  • If my product smells bad, should I use it?

    Some products contain ingredients that have an unpleasant smell, but this does not mean the product has gone bad. For instance, some products (Calm G, Balance D, and Daxitrol Essential) include N-acety-L-cysteine, which contains sulfur and therefore has a very characteristic sulfur odor.

  • Should I take my NeuroScience products on an empty stomach?
    Some products are best taken away from food (30 minutes before or 2-3 hours after meals). Consult your health care practitioner.
  • What are the potential side effects of NeuroScience products?
    Potential side effects include: nausea, GI upset, gas, bloating, vomiting, and headaches. Most side effects are temporary.

    5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), for example, can initially cause nausea or stomach upset. This is usually short-term and mild.

    Some products may increase fatigue in tired patients while others may increase restlessness in anxious patients. Consult your health care practitioner if you experience side effects.

  • How long will it take to get my product order?
    Physicians: products are sent via UPS 3-Day Guarantee unless otherwise requested.

    Patients: product orders are sent via UPS ground delivery, unless otherwise requested. Check the UPS delivery maps for the in-transit time.
  • Is it safe to take NeuroScience products while pregnant and/or nursing? 
    Use of amino acids and other naturally-derived ingredients by women who are pregnant or nursing is under the discretion of the consumer and healthcare practitioner. There is no published information regarding the safety or untoward effect of these products or ingredients during pregnancy or while nursing. 

    NOTE- AdreCor with Licorice Root should not be taken if you are pregnant, nursing, or plan on becoming pregnant. If you become pregnant while taking this product, discontinue and contact your healthcare practitioner.
  • Can I order products online?
    Yes, however only registered customers (after login) can order products. If you need a login, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-888-342-7272.

  • I have a tax exemption for the state I practice in, is this honored when ordering product online?
    Yes, but only for the state you have the exemption for. If the ship-to address is not in the same state as your business, sales tax will be charged. Sales tax is determined by ship-to address.

  • What credit cards can I use for paying online (products and Bill Pay)?
    We currently support Master Card, VISA, Discover, American Express.
  • Can I use multiple credit cards for online product orders or the Bill Pay feature?
    Currently, payment must be done with a single credit card at a time.
    For invoices however, you can choose to pay one invoice (or a part of an invoice) with one card. After completion, you can return to your open invoices and pay another invoice (or part of an invoice) with another card.

  • Can I pay invoices or orders with PayPal?
    Sorry, but PayPal is currently not supported.
  • Will I receive a confirmation of online payments?
    Yes, after successful completion of a online product order or Pay Bill transaction, you will receive an email confirmation of your order.

  • Is your "Pay Bill" for patients or healthcare professionals?
    "Pay Bill" is available for both patients and healthcare professionals.
    No login is required. A customer number, invoice number (see your invoice), and credit card however are required to use this service.
  • Do I have to pay all the bills presented at Pay Bill at one time?
    No, you can choose to pay only one or as many of the open invoices in the list at one time. By default, all open invoices are marked to be paid. You can deselect any invoice removing the check-box in front of it.
  • Does Pay Bill show me the outstanding dollar amount?
    Yes, Pay Bill does show the outstanding dollar amount.
  • I forgot my password what do I do?
    If you forget your password, you can click the "recover passwords" button next to the login window. An email will be automatically sent to the email on file corresponding to your username.
  • What are my username and password?
    The username and password to login are the ones setup during your account setup; these are the same ones used for accessing online reports.
    If you did not set one up, or have forgotten these, please call Customer Service-Account Support (1-888-342-7272) for assistance.
  • Does AdreCor with SAMe contain adrenal extract?
    No, AdreCor with SAMe is a vegetarian product that derives its highly standardized amino acids, minerals, and vitamins from plant-based and mineral sources. 
  • If SerinAid® PS50 is derived from soy lecithin, does it contain soy allergens? 
    Although SerinAid® PS50 is derived from soy lecithin; it does not contain any soy proteins. By law it must state that it is derived from soy. Purified fractionated, high PC soybean lecithin is used as starting raw material for SerinAid® PS50, and soy protein is not present in this material. Additional processing steps are taken to ensure even the most minute fragments of soy protein are removed during the SerinAid® PS50 creation. 
  • Does AdreCor with Licorice Root contain adrenal extract?
    No, AdreCor with Licorice Root is a vegetarian product that derives its highly standardized amino acids, minerals, and vitamins from plant-based and mineral sources. 
  • Does NeuroScience manufacture safe products? 

    NeuroScience products are produced in the United States by manufacturers certified in good manufacturing practices.  These manufacturers are inspected by the FDA to ensure compliance with guidelines that ensure product potency, purity, and consistency.  NeuroScience further tests all its products to ensure they are free of contaminants like bacteria, mold, or heavy metals.

  • What is the quality and source of NeuroScience products?
    NeuroScience products are produced in the United States by manufacturers certified in good manufacturing practices using quality ingredients from around the world.  These manufacturers are inspected by the FDA to ensure compliance with guidelines that ensure potency, purity, and consistency of each ingredient and finished product.  NeuroScience conducts further testing of all products to ensure that they are free of contaminants like bacteria, mold, or heavy metals.

  • Do NeuroScience products contain gluten?

    NeuroScience, Inc. products are manufactured in compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Procedure (cGMP) guidelines and at facilities that are certified and audited by independent third parties. These facilities have specific cleaning and containment procedures to prevent contamination and maintain product purity. While NeuroScience, Inc. products themselves are not made with ingredients that contain gluten, the facilities where they are made do not specifically ban gluten and therefore those buildings are not necessarily gluten-free.

  • What can be done if I experience an upset stomach while taking any NeuroScience products?

    We suggest reducing the dose and/or taking the products with a small amount of non-protein containing food such as oatmeal, cereal or toast. Refrain from high protein foods such as turkey, fish or eggs. Consult with your health care provider if you have further concerns or questions. Exception: Calm PRT may be stimulating if used at lower-than-recommended doses. Consult with your healthcare provider if you have further concerns or questions.
